We can hardly keep track of all the celeb cameos in the new The Devil Wears Prada movie, but we definitely didn’t have this Irish star making an appearance on our bingo card!
The sequel to the beloved original movie, which was released a wild 20 years ago, is due out on May 1, and the next week is absolutely going to move at a glacial pace.
With a few days left to wait, we’ve been hanging on to every bit of the premiere fashion we can get and spotted a familiar name in Amelia Dimoldenberg’s post from the NYC red carpet.
Interview queen Amelia is one of the celebs making a cameo, and after the premiere, she shared a short video of the credits rolling and listing everyone who appeared ‘as themselves’.
As well as herself, fashion designers Donatella Versace and Marc Jacobs were listed, which isn’t too surprising considering this is a fashion film, but then up popped golf star Rory McIlroy’s name!
Rory’s wife, Erica, was also credited, which begs the question: Just how are they going to be incorporated into the storyline of The Devil Wears Prada 2?!
Rory clearly has great taste in TV as before the Masters in 2025, he and Erica binged another great show: Bridgerton.
He said last March: ‘I’ve gotten into Bridgerton – I didn’t think I would. I was very against watching it, but Erica convinced me. So we’re on a bit of a Bridgerton kick this week.’
Golf champ, businessman, and now film star… is there nothing Rory McIlroy can’t do?!
