Shane Lowry’s heart sss-kipped a beat when his beloved wife, Wendy, played a gas prank on him.

We’re glad to see they haven’t left the ‘ol Irish humour behind, because one of their main love languages appears to be poking fun at one another.

The couple currently resides in Florida, but is spending some time in Dublin, Ohio, ahead of the US Open, which takes place between June 18 and 21.

On Wednesday, Wendy seized the opportunity to give Shane a good fright.

She placed a rubber snake in their toilet and let it lie in wait for an unsuspecting Shane to find… and she teased her fans that his reaction would be one worth waiting for.

‘Sound on to hear him find it,’ she joked.

Wendy later shared a clip of her waiting at the end of the stairs to hear Shane’s screech when he opened the lid of the toilet; And screech he most certainly did!

With the sound on, you can hear the professional golfer yelp when his life flashed before his eyes at the snake, which, on first glance, he thought to be real.

Shane and Wendy marked their 10th wedding anniversary on April 12, which was a very special day in Shane’s calendar as it was also the final round of the Masters at August National.

At the time, Wendy paid tribute to her husband in the sweetest way, sharing a sweet photo of them on social media. The Laois native posted a recreation of their chic New York City wedding photo, where they kissed at a subway stop.

Here they are, 10 years and two children later. So sweet!
