It’s been a rollercoaster of a week in the Love Island villa, with the fallout of Casa Amor and movie night, but Monday’s episode was a ‘hard watch’ for many viewers.

The show kicked off with clips of Kavan flirting with Charleen in Casa being played on the big screen and leaving Jasmine in tears, as she still has strong feelings for him and wants to make things work.

From there, Jasmine spent much of the episode in tears, with Mica and Lorenzo trying to comfort her and the latter even ending up crying himself after seeing how upset his friend was.

During one teary chat, Mica found Jasmine crying on her own, with Jas telling her: ‘I can’t take it, Mica, I can’t even look at him. I care a lot.

‘I do think I was in love with him, and I am still. I know when I’m in love with someone, I know the way I am, I’ve not been in love with someone for maybe four years, and I love really well so it’s a big loss of him as well.

‘It’s one thing to be hurt, but it’s another thing to be in love with someone and be heartbroken by it.’

Jasmine seemed to reach her breaking point after seeing Kavan and Charleen chatting on the terrace, which made her think that he’s still interested in Charleen and doesn’t feel the same way about her as she does him.

Charleen, who cried about Kavan after waking up at the start of Monday’s episode, is still interested in Kavan, and while they do have a connection, he doesn’t want to be disrespectful to Jasmine.

Lots of viewers reacted to the tear-filled show, with many saying it was a tough watch and that producers need to check in on the Islanders after all the crying.

‘This isn’t even funny; she’s genuinely spent the whole episode crying. It’s so uncomfortable to watch,’ said one person about Jasmine.

Someone else added: ‘Never cried over reality TV but baby gal Jas has me in tears.’

A third person added, ‘Producers need to step in; this is genuinely a hard watch,’ while someone else commented: ‘Hard watch for Jas tonight, please stop painting her out to be a villain. Enough is enough.’

‘This episode was a hard watch. The way she sent Finley to check up on him when she thought he needed it. To him not even giving her a second glance. Open your eyes, Jas,’ wrote someone else, referring to a moment earlier in the week.

Here’s hoping the tears have stopped and Jasmine is feeling better on Tuesday’s show.
