Doireann Garrihy was every inch the glamorous mum as her little girl celebrated her Christening on Saturday.

The RTÉ presenter and her comedian husband, Mark Mehigan, beamed with pride as they marked baby Rosie’s special day.

The couple, who tied the knot in November 2024, gathered their nearest and dearest to watch their ten-month-old become a member of the Catholic church, with the help of Capuchin priest, brother Richard, who is a big hit on social media.

Doireann and Mark spared no expense on the day, treating guests to lunch at the five star Westbury Hotel on Grafton Street.

The 2FM star shared shots of the all cream dinner table. She also supplied her guests with sweet treats, including a pretty cream-coloured cake with Rosie’s name across the top and rocky road slices from 2210 Pâtisserie.

They also catered for their nieces and nephews, supplying them with teddy bears and colouring books during the meal. Doireann shared shots of the proud mum and dad posing with their only daughter alongside the song Favourite by Fontaines D.C.

Proud dad Mark also shared some sweet snaps from the special day, gushing over their daughter.

‘Rosie’s Christening. A gorgeous day celebrating with the most important people in her little world. She was of course, an angel,’ he penned.

Doireann’s sister Ailbhe was chosen as Rosie’s godmother on the day, taking time to pose with her adorable niece.

‘The best day. So honoured to be your godmother Rosie, my girlie forever,’ she wrote.

People were quick to compliment Rosie’s special day, with Francis Brennan saying: ‘So lovely.’

‘Stop it now!! This is so gorgeous,’ Katja Mia penned, while Joanne McNally added: ‘Gorge.’
