Champion Jockey Rachel Blackmore has introduced her newborn son to the horses, cradling her new bundle against an unseasonably cool June day.
Rachel became a mum for the first time last Wednesday, giving birth to a baby boy and sharing the news on Instagram.
Rachel and her husband, Brian Hayes, who are known for keeping their relationship private and quietly married earlier this year, did not share extensive details about the birth.

The couple announced the arrival of their son on Wednesday, sharing a black-and-white photo of proud mum Rachel, cradling the newborn as he slept peacefully.
Revealing their son’s name, Blackmore confirmed they have called him Bowie Martin Hayes.
This morning, Rachel took a walk down to the stables in Knockeen to introduce little Bowie to the magnificent horses she has spent her entire life around.

Blackmore and Hayes largely kept their personal life out of the spotlight, with fans only recently picking up on the pregnancy through subtle social media hints over the past few months.
In one post earlier this year, Blackmore shared a photo of her car boot showing a pram box, writing: ‘Boot contents looking a little bit different now.’
The couple confirmed they had tied the knot in January during an interview with Hello! magazine, describing a low-key ceremony followed by a family celebration in Cavan.

Looking extremely relaxed for a first-time mum, Rachel cradled little Bowie close as the horses ambled around her, while jockeys and stable staff gathered around, eager for a glimpse of the latest arrival to the world of horse racing.
Commenting underneath the Instagram post, champion trainer Henry De Bromhead, said, ‘Knockeen had a very important visitor this morning, with @blackmorerachael and Bowie coming down to meet the team.’
‘We wonder how long it will be until we can see him back here riding out.’
Other comments included ‘Stop it. Sooo cute. The tiny hand clinging onto mommy.’
‘So cute. Huge congrats, Rachael and Brian. No time wasted introducing him to the horses.’
