Sean ‘Fitzy’ Fitzgerald has made his triumphant return to social media after leaving Love Island.
Galway GAA man Fitzy coupled up with Lola Deal early on in the show, with the couple closing off almost immediately.
However, public opinion on the couple soured following Casa Amor, with Lola being accused of bullying Casa girl Julia after she called out Fitzy’s behaviour during the part of the show.

After being one of three vulnerable couples thanks to the public vote, Lola and Fitzy decided to walk instead of being potentially dumped from the villa — with Fitzy making his return to the villa using one of the iconic soundbites from his time in the villa.
For the uninitiated, Lola and Julia got into a tense argument over Fitzy’s dalliances in Casa Amor, with Julia channelling her inner Gaeilgeoir when she told Lola to Póg mo Thóin.
While Fitzy decided against telling Lola — who initially thought Julia swore at her in Polish — what Julia meant, he seems to have taken it in stride if his return to social media is anything to go by.

Sharing a video to TikTok, Fitzy lip-synced Lola’s bilingual insult — before, for some reason, twerking against the wall.
Fitzy also made a cheeky dig at his career as a teacher, captioning the vid: ‘Irish is my favourite subject to teach.’
The video caused quite the stir online, with one person commenting: ‘Where was this energy, in the villa?’

Others wondered where Lola was in the making of the video, with one adding: ‘Is our angel recording?’ while another commented: ‘WHERE’S LOLA THEN?’
Another asked the most important question, however — asking Fitzy what he thought of Mayo making the All-Ireland final after a Fitzy-less Galway crashed out of the championship in the quarter final against Dublin.
Despite his departure from Love Island, many believe that we haven’t seen the last of Fitzy on our screens — with Ladbrokes already lining up odds for where he might land in the future.
