Jimmy Fallon, move over, because our own Nicola Coughlan played a blinder hosting SNL last night, and as you can imagine, fans were not shy about airing their thoughts.
The star has taken part in the show before when Graham Norton and Tina Fey took to the stage, but this time she was ready to take the spotlight…along with Jimmy, of course.
Showing her the ropes, they scurried around the set making fun of people in the audience, and Nicola added the Foo Fighters’ David Grohl to her list of best friends.
Bringing nothing but laughter, some people were in pain. ‘That was an amazing hour with Nicola and Foo Fighters and the cast of SNL. My mother and I laughed so much that our stomachs hurt. So, thank you.’
One named the Galway girl a queen, with others demanding that more episodes be made, ‘OMG!!! NICOLA!!!!! The star that you are!!! That was freaking EPIC. I need more.’
Clearly a success among those at home, we have a feeling this won’t be the last time we see Nicola on stage with Jimmy!
