Derryman Meehaul McGrath is a married man, as he and his longtime love, Lauren O’Loughlin, have tied the knot.
The GAA player and his bride jetted off to sunny Portugal for their nuptials, with a fabulous ceremony in Monte das Oliveiras in Guia.
Lauren opted for a classic, modern bridal look. Her gown boasted a fit-and-flare silhouette that skimmed her body before flowing into a soft, understated train.

It had a clean and tailored bodice with gentle draping that enhanced the silhouette without heavy embellishment. The gown had a strapless sweetheart neckline with subtle ruching.
The soft, flowing chapel-length train added a touch of elegance without overwhelming the minimalist design. Totally timeless!
Lauren’s blonde locks were swept back into a neat updo, from which hung a lengthy veil that draped behind her as she walked down the aisle.

Her husband, Meehaul, kept things classic and simple in a black tuxedo, white shirt, and black bow tie.
The couple made quite the entrance at their wedding reception, with their guests swinging around their napkins wildly to a techno song and the groomsmen and bridesmaids all standing on their chairs to greet the newlyweds.
Lauren and Meehaul opted for an understated wedding cake, but the main event was when they poured Champagne into a tower of coupes as pyrotechnics set the scene behind them.

A beautiful sign outside of their wedding venue read: ‘Céad míle fáilte to the wedding of Lauren & Meehaul. 30th July 2026. Algarve, Portugal.’
Guests couldn’t resist but to cheer the happy couple with a round of baby Guinness shots (needs must, eh?)

And their content creator, @moments_to_memories_content, captured the true essence of the day, as the bride, groom, and their nearest and dearest took part in their own music video to Van Morrison’s iconic track, Brown Eyed Girl.
It appeared to be a hoolie and a half. Congratulations to the happy couple, Lauren and Meehaul.
