She will now perform live at the sold-out festival this summer.

The competition attracted over 50 entries from talented local artists.
Choosing a winner was no easy task.

High Praise from Festival Organisers

The winner was revealed on The Spin Home with John Keane on WLR. Will Rolfe, event organiser for All Together Now, praised the overall standard.

He described Denver’s sound as outstanding. He also noted the high calibre of entries.

Some artists who didn’t win may still feature at the festival. This highlights the strength of local music talent.

About Denver Cuss

Denver is a London-based soul musician and producer who grew up in Tramore. She has built a strong reputation in both Ireland and the UK. Her latest album, Leaving Me, was released in summer 2024.
It was distributed by Broken Silence in Hamburg.

The album received major attention in Germany. It was featured in a two-page spread in Rolling Stone Germany. Denver was also named third in the magazine’s top ten newcomers of 2024.

Growing Success Across Europe

Since then, Denver has performed across London and Europe. She has also toured with acclaimed R&B artist PM Warson.

Her recent single, Crossed My Mind / You Don’t Get It, was recorded entirely live to tape. It showcases her commitment to analogue production techniques.

The vinyl release came through LRK Records, a respected Cambridge soul label. It has been played on Craig Charles’ Funk & Soul Show on the BBC.

Chart Success and Musical Style

Denver also contributed to a track for Carmy Love. The song You Gotta Understand reached number two on the official vinyl singles chart.

Stax Records and 1960s soul inspire her music. A strong jazz background shapes her sound.

She blends vintage production with modern energy. The result is a nostalgic yet fresh take on classic soul and R&B.

A Big Moment Ahead

Winning the WLR competition is a major milestone. Denver Cuss will now take the stage at All Together Now.

It’s a huge opportunity. And a proud moment for Tramore and Waterford’s music scene.
