Faye Shortt is a natural, by all accounts, as she made her hosting debut on the Six O’Clock Show on Monday.
The comedian, who is the daughter of Pat Shortt, oozes confidence and loves both being on stage and creating content, so it’s no surprise that she lapped up her time in front of the camera.
Faye co-hosted the Six O’Clock Show with Brian Dowling and will continue to do so throughout the week as the search for a new permanent presenter continues, after Katja Mia’s departure.

Katja’s were big shoes to fill as she left Virgin Media for RTÉ, but Faye has gotten Katja’s seal of approval.
‘Star girl and you look so good!!!,’ the 2FM host wrote as Faye shared photos with her former co-host and good friend, Brian. Elsewhere, Brian commented: ‘Darling, you ACED IT!!! Let’s do it again today and actually for the rest of the week.’
Others who chimed in to congratulate Faye on her hosting debut included Thalia Heffernan and Darren Kennedy.

‘Eeeeekkk, my first time ever presenting on the @sixoclockshow. @bprdowling, thank you for making it so much fun, absolutely loved every minute of it,’ Faye wrote.
The 27-year-old looked fabulous in Zara’s Pocket Jacket, which retails for €99.95. It’s a tailored utility-style jacket with a regular collar, long sleeves, and patch pockets with flaps on the front.
She paired the look with some shorts in the same colourway and some brown block heels. Faye wore her long brunette locks slicked back into a ponytail — uber-chic!

Since Katja’s departure from the Six O’Clock Show earlier this year, several well-known faces have temporarily stepped up to the plate.
Tracy Clifford, Una Healy, and Brian’s husband, Arthur Gourounlian, have all sat in the hot seat, but only time will tell who will become the face of the talk show to give it a fresh feel.
