CMAT has given a huge update on her touring schedule next year.

It’s been a huge year for Dunboyne Diana, who recently celebrated the successful release of her latest album, Euro Country, before heading out on a major tour.

After CMAT headlines Electric Picnic this August, she’ll be heading across the Atlantic for her tour of North and South America, which wraps up in December in Brazil.

And if you missed out on tickets for any of her gigs this year and are hoping to see her next year, then we have some bad news — CMAT herself has announced that she won’t be touring in 2027.

‘I’m not doing any live music next year,’ CMAT told the BBC Radio 6 podcast Sidetracked. ‘The next calendar year, of 2027, I’m not performing any live music at all.

‘I don’t know if I was supposed to say that, but that’s what’s happening. And I don’t care – you can come fight me if you want,’ she joked.

While we won’t be seeing her live next year, CMAT has said that she’ll still be working, teasing: ‘I want to take some time to make good records. I was like a gremlin chained to my mixing desk.’

CMAT is set to headline Electric Picnic, which will take place from August 28-30, as her last gig in Ireland this year.

She’s made the most of her summer, opening for Robbie Williams in Luxembourg, sharing behind-the-scenes snaps with his team, and even teasing a potential meeting with Olivia Rodrigo after the pop superstar covered one of her songs.

Olivia covered When A Good Man Cries on BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge, with CMAT fangirling at the track, before the pair spoke over FaceTime a few days later.

CMAT loved that Olivia managed to flawlessly mention Dunboyne, with her extending an invite to her native Meath in the future.

‘I don’t know if you know, but there’s a giant mural of me on the side of the wall going into the village,’ CMAT told the Vampire singer. ‘I think that if I brought you, they would put a mural of you on the other side.’

‘Let’s do it!’ Olivia encouraged, ‘Sign me up. We’re going to play a show.’
