Amy Huberman has shared an emotional tribute to her late father Harold as she marked what would have been his birthday.
The actress and author posted a sweet throwback photo of her dad celebrating, joking that he ‘hadn’t aged a day’ as she remembered his trademark sense of humour.
Amy’s father, a well-known designer, died in 2022 following a battle with Parkinson’s disease. He was 84.

Sharing the photo on Instagram, Amy wrote: ‘Happy heavenly up in the stars birthday to my lovely Dad. Seen here celebrating his 8th birthday. Obviously hadn’t aged a day.’
She also recalled one of his favourite birthday sayings, adding: ‘Anyone else’s birthday, he’d always greet them with “Happy bleedin birthday Gitface”. So happy bleedin birthday Gitface.’
Amy finished the tribute with another personal touch, writing: ‘Hope there’s a bucket of liquorice allsorts.’

Friends and followers quickly flooded the comments section with messages of support and remembrance.
One person wrote: ‘Wonderful memories of your beloved Dad.’
Another added: ‘Such style — the shirt, the braces, the glasses! Clear to see where you get it from.’
Earlier this year, Amy reflected on her father’s influence while speaking about her own love of fashion and Irish design.
The mum-of-three said she would not rule out working in fashion in the future, explaining that growing up with a designer father had given her a strong appreciation for the industry.
‘My dad was a designer, and I just think it’s lovely to celebrate Irish design,’ she said.
Amy added that she enjoys seeing Irish fashion continue to grow and gain recognition both at home and abroad.
