Rosanna Davison’s father, Chris de Burgh, is very involved in his grandbabies’ lives.
The former Miss World’s children, Sophia, Oscar and Hugo, idolise their ‘Bambam’, as he’s affectionately known.
We’re sure Chris has sung the three little ones to sleep on numerous occasions, but never have they heard him perform live… until now.

On Wednesday, Rosanna shared an adorable video of Sophia, Oscar and Hugo sitting with her and her mum, Diane, as they watched Chris do what he does best on stage in Cologne, Germany.
The Lady in Red crooner was poised behind a piano as he serenaded his audience, which included his grandkids for the first time.
Cherishing the special moment, Rosanna wrote: ‘We brought Sophia, Hugo and Oscar to watch their grandad (better known to them as Bambam!) perform on his current tour for the very first time last night.’

‘Seeing their little faces watching him on stage was so special. One of those moments that becomes a family memory forever,’ Rosanna continued.
She sweetly captioned the video: ‘These are the moments family memories are made of.’
‘Fab memories for you and the kids,’ one of Rosanna’s followers wrote, as another penned: ‘I’ve always said it – your Dad is a genius!’

Elsewhere, Fair City actress Jenny Dixon wrote: ‘Beautiful ❤️ You must be so proud x.’
Chris has previously spoken about the ecstasy he felt when he learned he was to become a grandfather for the first time, after Rosanna’s heartbreaking fertility struggles.
In 2020, when she announced her pregnancy, her family ‘burst into tears’ when they heard the happy news.

Speaking on The Today Show at the time, Chris said: ‘She had multiple miscarriages and was told she couldn’t have children, and they went the surrogate route, incidentally through Kyiv, and there are people there now trapped waiting for their babies. It would make your heart break.
‘And then a year and a half ago she suddenly said, “I’m pregnant, identical twins”. Of course we all burst into tears.’
