The midfielder returned to the Canadian Premier League in December 2023, signing with Valour FC for the 2024 & 2025 seasons, as he now makes the move to the Blues for 2026.
Speaking on signing for the club, Faria spoke of his excitement to getting straight to work, saying:
“I’m delighted to be here. For me it’s a surreal experience to be playing in Europe, it has been a dream of mine since I was young. I’m grateful for the opportunity and belief from the club, and I’m excited to work with Jon and the rest of my teammates here at Waterford.”
Blues Head Coach Jon Daly is pleased to welcome Faria to the club, stating:
“Jordan is a wide player that likes to take on his opponent in 1v1 situations. He carries the ball well and looks to create opportunities for himself and his teammates. Once he settles and adapts to life at Waterford, I’m sure he will excite our fans with his positive style of play.”

Meanwhile, Waterford have also confirmed that winger Josh Miles has departed the club by mutual consent. The 19 year old had joined from Blackpool in July of last year on an 18 month contract but made little impact with just six appearances in the last campaign.
