Waterford born actor Charles Kean
While Waterford Treasures is closed to the public, Eamonn McEneaney has been filling us in on the stories behind some of the artefacts at the museums. Today he turned his attention to the actor Charles Kean, born in Waterford to Edmund Kean (who was also an actor) and Mary Chambers. Charles went onto to be a huge star of the stage internationally.
