The Waterford Wildcats return to cup action this weekend.
The league action has been set aside for a week as the Paudie O Connor national cup reaches the quarter-final stage.
Tommy O Mahony's team made it to the semi-finals last season where they suffered a 5-point loss to eventual runners-up DCU Mercy.
This year the Wildcats had a bye for the first round and find themselves straight into the final eight where they face Leixlip Amenities Liffey Celtics.
Celtics were three-point winners over Singleton SuperValu Brunell in their opening game.
While the Waterford side have not gotten a taste of cup games yet this year they have plenty of minutes in the legs from their league endeavors. They hold fourth place in the Super League having won 5 of their seven games to date. Their only losses so far have come against Dublin sides DCU and Trinity Meteors.
