The Waterford Wildcats' journey in the National Cup has come to an end this afternoon.
Tommy O Mahony's team were beaten 80-74 by Killester in the Neptune Stadium a short time ago.
Trailing by 4 at the half time break, the Wildcats never managed to go level with the Dublin side - but were just one point off at they began the final quarter.
Killester then managed to get their noses in front and would lead by 10 with 2 minutes to go.
Waterford rallied to reduce that gap to 5 going into the final 30 seconds, but Killester were able to regain control of the game to win 87-77 by the full-time buzzer.
It marks a fourth straight loss for the Wildcats who bow out at the semi-final stage for the second consecutive year, while Killester are now on a five-game winning streak.
