Following an impressive 80-62 win over Fr. Matthews of Cork, the WIT Wildcats are through to the cup semi-finals.
Tommy O' Mahoney's team who are currently sitting top of the table are now into the final four of the national competition.
At the halftime buzzer, the Cork outfit held a narrow 1 point lead, but a great third quarter saw the Waterford team regain the lead and extend their advantage to six points.
The final quarter saw them really catch fire and they went well out of sight of their opponents.
