The WIT Waterford Wildcats are top of the Women's Super League following a dramatic win in Cork last night (Saturday).
They found the going tough in the first half against Brunell and trailed 37-24 at half-time.
However, Tommy O'Mahony's charges fought back and two Kate Hickey points in the last seconds brought the game into overtime.The Wildcats went on to win 70-67.
Jazz Walker top scored for the Waterford side with a hugely impressive 21 points.
Stephanie O'Shea scored 10 points and Rachel Thompson chipped in with 7 points.
The table-toppers play Fr Matthews in the Mercy Hall on Saturday next.
Final score: Brunell 67 WIT Waterford Wildcats 70.

WIT Vikings

In a hugely entertaining game in Carrickpheirish Sports Hall last night - WIT Vikings just fell short of their first win this season going down to Limerick Sport Eagles 82 points to 75.

Tremendous performances from Osi Oshiogwemoh (30 pts) and Jay Kavanagh (26 pts) almost saw the home side record their first win.
