Former Déise manager John 'Jackson' Kiely picked his greatest Waterford football team of the last 40 years on Friday's Lár Na Páirce show.

Gary Hurney from Ballinacourty was an automatic selection up front.  "There's a few lads I couldn't leave off. Gary Hurney is at centre forward. What an awesome player in his day and the performances he gave for Munster. The bigger the opponent, the better Hurney was. He had incredible ability to solo with the ball for a big guy. He's one of Waterford's GOATs, the greatest of all time. He's definitely on that shortlist."
