West Waterford AC athlete Joe Gough wins gold at European Masters Championships
At the European Masters Championships on Saturday morning, West Waterford ACs Joe Gough took home the gold in the over 70s 800 metres event.
The Waterford man raced to the finish line ahead of 9 other athletes from the continent, taking first place by less than 2 tenths of a second.
