Waterford camogie manager Jerry Wallace says that Saturday's All Ireland championship clash against Limerick in Walsh Park is a must-win game for his side.

The Déise lost to Tipperary last weekend and Wallace hopes that they can bounce back on home soil. "I think they can challenge anyone in the country," he told WLR's Lár Na Páirce show. "With girls coming back into the fold, the group is only going to get stronger. This Saturday, we need to get points on the board and get ourselves up and running in the All Ireland campaign. There's no kudos for coming second best ever. You always have to try and be number one and that's what the aim is. We have a difficult opponent coming on Saturday but we'll be ready for them."

He wants to see a big crowd at the Keane's Road venue. "It would be nice to see a good support. The game mightn't be that enlightening. I believe Limerick will be coming down to defend and make it tough and rough on us. At the same time, if you're a supporter of Waterford camogie, Walsh Park on Saturday afternoon would be a good place to drop into. If families and clubs can bring in 10 or 20 younger players, I know that after the match that the players will be open to signing autographs and chatting to the girls."

Throw in is at 2 o'clock and Tomás McCarthy will have updates on WLR throughout the afternoon.
