After last week's loss to Wexford, Waterford will play Division 1B hurling in 2025. Former Déise boss Michael Ryan believes that the team need a morale boosting result. "Winning is a habit and so is losing. We need to win that game because it's our last game before we go into the first round of the championship against Cork. We have four consecutive games at home between league and championship. We've already lost three league games, we need to get back on the horse and start winning matches. From a confidence point of view, it's huge. We need to win that game and get up and running."
