The Waterford minor footballers make the long journey to Quilty this evening to take on Clare in the first round of the Munster championship.
The Déise haven't won a game at this grade since 2019 but manager Paul Power says that his players are proud to pull on the county shirt. "All I can vouch for is the 32 lads that we have on board at the minute and the commitment we're getting from them is top class, along with their parents. We have 32 lads that are mad for road to be honest. We've spoken about it in our group, a lot of these guys want to go on and play senior football for Waterford."
Throw in is at 7 o'clock.
