Waterpark got back in the winning column in the Munster Junior League yesterday, closing out their year with a 27 to 5 win over Tralee at Ballinakill.
The tries were scored by Paddy Kiersey, Cormac Kinsella, Emmet O’Shea and Dermot Lannon, while out-half Willie Walsh kicked a penalty and two conversions.
They bring the curtain down on 2023 sitting sixth in the standings with four wins and three losses in their seven games to date.
The senior team are back in action in the New Year when they travel to Fethard on January 14th.
Elsewhere, in the U18 Pan Munster Cup First Round, Waterpark beat Sundays Well 29-19 in Cork, and the U16s beat Clonmel 12-0 to advance past the opening round of the Munster Plate.
