Déise defender Shane Fives has announced his retirement from inter-county hurling at the age of 32.
The cornerback won Munster and National League honours with the Déise and started the 2017 All Ireland final.
The Tourin man was twice nominated for an All-Star and scored two points in the 2015 Munster final against Tipperary.

He was called up to the panel in 2008 by Davy Fitzgerald but had to wait until 2013 to make his first championship start under Michael Ryan in an All Ireland qualifier away to Offaly.
He won a Railway Cup with Munster and captained the Déise in the National League game against Westmeath earlier this year.
Fives the second Waterford hurler to announce his inter-county retirement in the past week, following news Kevin Moran would no longer tog-out for the Déise.
