Waterford’s Diane Behan set for World Duathlon Powerman Championships in Germany

Waterford athlete Diane Behan is competing at the World Powerman Duathlon Championships in Alsdorf, Germany on Sunday.
She will take on an 80k event, consisting of a 10k run, 60k cycle, and a 10k run and this is the first time she is competing at this distance.
The event has attracted elite athletes from across the world.

Competing in the 55-59 age category, Diane claimed European duathlon gold in Portugal last year.
She previously claimed gold at the World Championships in Romania back in 2022.
