SETU Waterford Wildcats crowned regular season champions

The SETU Waterford Wildcats have been crowned regular season champions in the Womens’ Super League for the first time in 21 years.
With just two games left in the regular season, the Wildcats cannot be knocked off top spot – and will now march on to the league championship playoffs as they bid to taste glory for the first time since 1999.
The Wildcats confirmed top spot this evening with a 79-73 win away at Gurranabraher Credit Union Brunell.
Their last two games will see them take on St. Paul’s at home this Saturday before rounding out the regular season next weekend away to Portlaoise.
