The Waterford footballers were beaten comprehensively by Wexford in Division 4 of the National League last night.

Despite the Deise trailing by just a point at the break, Wexford ran out 11 points winners - 21 points to 1-7.

Alan Dunwoody scored a late consolation goal for Waterford, who are still without a win.

They have clashes with London, Tipperary and Laois left before the conclusion of the league campaign.
