The Waterford U20 football team to take on Clare in the Munster Championship opener has been named.
Manager Gavin Whelan's side open the campaign with the Banner coming to Lemybrien tomorrow before hitting the road to Limerick next weekend, and then on to a final group game at home to Tipperary on March 30th.
The team are guaranteed those three games, with winning results giving them the chance to play in a final.
Waterford's last win in Munster came against Clare back in 2021.
That result secured a provincial semi-final spot for Waterford, marking their joint-best finish to the competition, stretching back to 2009. In 2023, 2022, 2020 the Championship ended after one game.
