The Waterford under-20 footballers have got their Munster Championship campaign off to the perfect start.
They’ve beaten Clare 4-12 to 2-15 in Doonbeg.
The Deise goals came from a brace by Conor Keating as well as green flags courtesy of Paddy McCarthy and Fergal O’Brien – while Joe Brennan starred throughout with 0-7.
Waterford led 0-8 to 0-5 before coming out on the right side of a second-half goalfest to win out with two points in hand.
