Waterford FC make the trip to Inchicore Friday night to face Saint Patrick's Athletic in a fixture full of intrigue with both clubs in contention for the final European qualification spots.

With just six matches to go in the Airtricity Men’s Premier Division, every point matters.

A strong performance against Dundalk last Friday at the RSC resulted in a 2-1 win for the Blues, as Sam Bellis & Pádraig Amond fired home early on to spur Keith Long’s side to all three points in front of over 2,000 supporters at the RSC.

With two wins and a draw against Friday’s opponents so far this year, the Blues will look forward to the challenge ahead of them as they look to end the season strongly.

Waterford currently sit in fourth place in the league table with Friday's opponents in seventh, five points behind Waterford, but with a game in hand.

The Inchicore outfit come into Friday’s game on the back of wins against both Dundalk and Drogheda United in recent weeks.

After falling at the final hurdle of their European dream, the Saints will look to end their domestic season strongly to pick up one of the European spots remaining for 2025.

Keith Long has a full squad to choose from with the exception of Kyle White who continues to recover from his hamstring injury he picked up during the summer.
