Waterford will meet Limerick in the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship semi-final at 5pm on Saturday August 7th at Croke Park.

The game will be a repeat of last year's All-Ireland final, when the Treaty saw off the Deise with 11 points to spare.

Waterford progressed into the last four earlier today courtesy of a thrilling win over Tipperary, on a scoreline of 4-28 to 2-27.

Neil Montgomery, Austin Gleeson, Stephen Bennett and Dessie Hutchinson all netted for Liam Cahill's men, who hit 3-25 from play, beating the Premier in championship for the first time in 13 years.

Given that the victors of today's other quarter-final, Cork, have already faced Limerick - it is the Deise who go on to meet the Munster Champions, while Cork will battle with Kilkenny in the other semi-final.

Waterford defeated Limerick in the Allianz Hurling League on May 23rd.

In the day's other game, Cork saw off Dublin by 2-26 to 0-24, with goals coming courtesy of Tim O'Mahony and Kieran Kingston.
