After three long days of snooker, three Waterford teams have qualified for the knockout stages of the Munster Snooker Championships.

It was a challenging campaign overall, with Norris’s (A) and The Hawks Nest exiting the Premier section after three tough group defeats. In the Championship section, Norris’s (B) bowed out with one win from three, while Dungarvan (B) narrowly missed qualification, losing out in a dramatic one-frame playoff.

However, there was success for Waterford too. Both Dungarvan (A) and Dungarvan (C) progressed to the last 16, while Cappoquin secured a place in the quarter-finals after an impressive win over AOH of Cork.
