The Waterford Senior Hurling Manager has suspended training for the next few months.

Liam Cahill informed the panel, who were doing their own individual work behind the scenes, on a zoom call this week.

He says it's tough for the players, when they are training regularly on their own, without
any date to work towards.

He told WLR SPORT

"It's not that we want a concrete date or want to be guaranteed that there is even going to be a championship, but it would be great to get
some structure in relation to a road map as to when we might see action in the various grades, be it club or county, and give us an idea as
to what we can aim for and structure our training around that. That has not come and I think for everybody's sanity we have decided to
taper back our training a little bit and leave fellas to their own devices for the immediate future anyway.

He said "being a contact sport, it's not looking good that we have this virus under control well enough to be able to go back into a scenario where
you have 30 plus guys in a dressing room. It looks to be a long way away from that happening. He said it was strange for everybody at the moment with
changes to everyone's structure to their day, but obviously once everybody is healthy and well that's the main thing."
