The 2025 Waterford Senior Hurling Championship gets underway on Saturday with double headers at both Walsh Park and Cappoquin Logistics Fraher Field.

The battle for the News & Star Cup will see two groups of six battle it out before we arrive at the quarter-final phases.

Ballygunner will be seeking an unprecedented 12th title in a row – and they are unbeaten in 58 games in Waterford.

They will however be under new management this season as Jason Ryan replaces Darragh O’Sullivan at the helm.
