The 2025 Waterford Senior Hurling Championship will start with a repeat of last year's county final between Ballygunner and Abbeyside/Ballinacourty.
A Ferrybank motion, proposing two groups of six, was passed at last night's county board meeting.
De La Salle, Roanmore, Brickey Rangers and Clonea will also face the Gunners in Group B.
Group A contains Passage, Mount Sion, Dungarvan, Ferrybank, Lismore and Fourmilewater.

In the senior football championship, holders Rathgormack will take on Gaultier, An Rinn and Kilrossanty in Group A.
Group B consists of Abbeyside/Ballinacourty, The Nire, Roanmore and Clashmore/Kinsalebeg.
