The Waterford camogie team are aiming to break into the last four this evening as they travel to Thurles to face Galway in the All Ireland Quarter-Final.

The Deise have beaten Dublin, Meath and Clare to make the knockout stages for the second year in succession and manager Donal O’Rourke says that the players can’t wait to run out at Semple Stadium.

Captain Niamh Rockett hopes to make amends for last year’s loss to Tipperary; “Yeah definitely look, I suppose when we got knocked out at the Quarter-Final stages last year we were really disappointed with the team performance at the time so I think getting to knockout stages was on the agenda from the start of the year and do it a step further come Saturday”.

Throw in is at 7.15 and Tomás McCarthy will have updates throughout the evening here on WLR.

The curtain raiser will see Tipperary and Limerick battle it out for a semi-final place, they get underway @ 5:30pm.
