Waterford Premier League: Villa hit Ferrybank for six

Waterford Premier League champions Villa got their title defence off to the perfect start last night, putting six goals past Ferrybank.
Villa won out 6-1 on the night, Anthony Adenopo scored twice while the other goals came from Dean Walsh, Conor Whittle, John Fred Tamen and Mike Nzongong.
Dungarvan United take on Tramore at home on Friday night at 7:30, and the first round of fixtures rounds out on Sunday at 11am when Waterford Crystal host Hibernians and Ballinroad take on Tycor.
Villa are also in Munster Junior Cup action on Sunday when they travel to take on Cork’s Ringmahon Rangers in the quarter-final for a 2pm kick-off. Portlaw United will also be looking to book a place in the semi-finals when they’re away to Limerick side Pike Rovers.
At the same time, Tramore are in Munster Shield action when they play host to Aisling Annacotty of Limerick in the last 8.
