They ran out 3-0 winners away to Ballinroad thanks to goals from Jeff Da Silva, Aaron O'Connor and Conor Whittle.
Tycor and Bohemians played out a 1-1 draw on the opening night of the Waterford Premier League.
Adam Sutton gave Tycor the lead after just two minutes, but a late equaliser from Shane Nolan denied them three points.
Hibernians did pick up three points as they were 4-1 winners against Waterford Crystal.
Adam Masood scored twice while Ben Walshe and Daire O'Keeffe were also on target for David Breen's side.
Elsewhere, Dungarvan United and Portlaw United played out a 2-2 draw.
Gary Donnelly scored twice to move Dungarvan two ahead but two late strikes from Darryl Walsh secured a point for the hosts.
Goals from Cian Flanagan, Charlie Binions and Sam Sheppard gave Tramore a winning start to their Waterford Premier League campaign.
They were 3-0 winners against Ferrybank at Graun Park, joining Hibernians and Villa at the top of the table on three points apiece.
