Ferrybank bounce back to form

Having been held to a draw by Waterford Crystal the previous week, Ferrybank bounced back to winning form on Friday night at the Village Grounds in Abbeylands. Meschac Babatu led the charge with two goals. John Walsh, David Walsh, Eoin Phelan, Kevin "Goosey'' Roche, and David  Osasare also found the net for the home side. Ben Grace and Ivan Menlovah netted for a Piltown side who were scoring their first goals in the league but who remain pointless.
Southend still searching for a win

Southend United have yet to register a point on the league table following this latest defeat in Southend Park on Sunday. Dean Rochford put the visitors in front after 71 minutes and Andrew Power sealed the deal eight minutes from the final whistle.

Ballinroad came from behind to secure a point in St Lawrence's Park on Saturday night. Ian Cleary had Carrick in front at the interval but Toby Taylor secured a point for a Ballinroad side who are really improving greatly.
Games called off
The Dungarvan United v Hibernians match was called off due to a positive Covid-19 case in one of the camps. The Villa v Tramore game was not played as a mark of respect to the Villa player Roy Butler who tragically died aged just 23 years on August 17th.
