While Dungarvan United made the trip to Waterford Crystal with the home side taking the three points on a scoreline of 2-0.
In tonight's ties, Hibernians take on Carrick United at the RSC, while Piltown make their return to the Premier Division when they host Villa.
Both those are games underway at 7 pm.
