There were four games in the Waterford Premier League this weekend - as the chasing pack continue to try and keep the pace with unbeaten league leaders Villa.
On Saturday night, Dungarvan United made the trip to take on bottom side Carrick United.
Gary Donnelly gave the Kilrush side the lead before Alan equalised right before half-time, but two strikes in quick succession from Alan Dunwoody and Shay Cotter saw Dungarvan move 3-1 to the good.
A goal from Alan Rockett 20 minutes from time threatened to make it interesting, but Cotter was on hand to score his second moments later to ensure Dungarvan returned home with a 4-2 victory.
Hibernians moved to within a point of second-placed Dungarvan thanks to goals from Mark and Sean O'Keeffe - seeing off Ballinroad 2-0 at St. Laurence's Park.
Bohemians and Tramore are also among the chasing pack and they both tasted victory.
Bohemians saw off Waterford Crystal 3-2 thanks to a brace from Dion Donnelly and a Luke Brown effort.
Tramore have moved up to fourth thanks to a 3-1 win against ten-man Portlaw United.
