Waterford have their second win on the board in the All-Ireland Senior Camogie Championship.
They've beaten Antrim away to move to seven points in Group 1 and will end the weekend sitting third in the table ahead of their loser-goes-home clash with Derry next weekend in Walsh Park.
The result was mostly routine for the Déise at Loughiel Shamrocks where they hit 3.18 to Antrim's 1.08, handing the Saffrons their third straight loss of the campaign.
Players, management and fans will have been delighted to see defender Vikki Faulkner make her return to the pitch 321 days after her horror injury in the 2023 All-Ireland final with the Tramore club woman playing the second half in Antrim. Abby Flyyn also made her return having also recovered from a knee injury to play the full hour, scoring a goal to announce herself.
Mairead O'Brien notched her sixth goal in four championship games and will have a quick turnaround ahead of lining out for the Waterford Ladies' Footballers in Walsh Park on Sunday.
Sarah Lacey notched the third goal on Saturday afternoon, with the ever-reliable Beth Carton putting 11 points on the board while Roisin Kirwan, Niamh Rockett, Laoise Forrest, Orla Hickey and Annie Fitzgerald all hit singles.
All roads now point to Walsh Park on Saturday, June 29th when Derry come to town.
It's a case of winners take all at the city ground with Waterford one point ahead of Derry in the standings.
The first-placed team go straight through to the All-Ireland semis, with the second and third-placed teams heading for the quarters to be played at Croke Park as part of a doubleheader weekend with the huling semis.
In Saturday's other games, Kilkenny and Tipperary - the table toppers - smashed their opponents out the door. Tipperary had 33 points to spare on Limerick where it ended 7.19 to 0.06 while Kilkenny put Derry to the sword to win 4.17 to 0.07.
