The fixture has been confirmed for Waterford’s All Ireland Minor Hurling Championship semi-final clash against Kilkenny.
The game will take place on Saturday June 14th at Wexford Park.
Throw in is at 7.35pm.
The Deise qualified for the last four in Ireland via their win against Limerick at the weekend, while Kilkenny come into the clash as Leinster champions having seen off the challenge of Galway in the provincial decider.
Waterford boss James O’Connor is expecting a tough test against the Cats.
“I would have rated them in the top three always over the year. I always thought they were one of the better teams that we’ve played in challenge games. This is going to come down to the last couple of minutes. We won one and lost one. I actually think we’re very even. Physically, they’ll match us. Size-wise, they’re going to match us. Again, it’s that bounce of the ball and who just wants it more on the day. That’s what it’s going to come down to.”
The other semi-final between Cork and Clare will be played at Semple Stadium, Thurles on Sunday June 15th at 1pm.
