Waterford FC welcome Galway United FC to the RSC this evening for their latest SSE Airtricity League Premier Division meeting.
With just five league matches remaining, the Blues face off against the Tribesmen. A familiar foe they have not beaten in quite some time.
In the seventeen meetings between the sides, Waterford have won on just three occasions. The last win coming in 2022.
The Tribesmen on the other hand have won nine times against the Blues.
Both sides will be looking to end their first year back in the top-flight of Irish football in a strong-vein of form.
Waterford picked up an important set of three points at home to Dundalk FC a fortnight ago only to fall harshly to a three nil loss in Inchicore to Saint Patrick's Athletic.
The Blues find themselves in sixth place in the SSE Airtricity Men’s Premier Division table on 43 points.
Galway United lie two places above the Blues in the cherished 4th place. Just three points ahead of Waterford.
John Caulfield brings his Galway United side down to the RSC with the Tribesmen having picked up points in 6 of their last 7 Premier Division games.
Kyle White (Hamstring) remains absent for the game against Galway. Aside from that, Keith Long has a full squad to choose from – including Sam Sargeant, who made his return to action last Friday in Richmond Park.
We'll have live updates on air this evening from the RSC. Kick-off is at 7.45.
