The Waterford Senior Ladies Footballers have qualified for this year’s Munster Ladies Football Championship final.

The Déise put old foes Cork to the sword in a powerful display at the Dungarvan GAA grounds on Sunday afternoon running out 3-12 to 1-09 victors.

Dungarvan’s Lauren McGregor striking 2-1 with St Pats’ Eve Power also raising a crucial green flag on the day. KellyAnn Hogan added on three points of her own with Chloe Fennell and Emma Murray tacking on two points each to help push Waterford into a comprehensive lead.

Waterford will meet Kerry in the provincial decider.

The two sides met in round two of this year’s Munster championship where the Kingdom came away the victors on the narrowest of margins with a one point victory on a scoreline of 2-09 to 1-11.
