Waterford Ladies Footballers fight for opening day Munster Championship win

The Waterford Ladies Footballers came away with a hard earned 2-9 to 1-7 win over Tipperary in round one of the 2025 Munster Championship.
The Déise led by 2-04 to 1-02 at the half way mark but the hosts came fighting back in the second period to make for a grand stand finish in Fethard Town Park.
Lauren McGregor led the way in scoring as she raised two green flags for Waterford in addition to 0-05 from KellyAnn Hogan.
Manager Tomás Mac an TSaoir will now look towards the next game with Waterford hosting Kerry on Sunday, May 4th.
