The Waterford senior ladies' football team to take on Kerry in the league has been named.
Pat Sullivan's side welcome the Kingdom to Piltown on Sunday for their opening game of 2023 where they will look to challenge for league honours at the expense of Donegal, Cork, Galway, Meath, Mayo, Dublin and this weekend's opponents, Kerry.
Evelyn O'Brien (Clashmore/Kinsalebeg) starts between the sticks, the full-back line is made up of Kate McGrath(Kilrossanty Brickeys), Megan Dunford(Abbeyside) and Aoife Murray(Comeragh Rangers).
The half-back line comprises Eve Power(St Pats), Emma Murray(Comeragh Rangers) and Hannah Power(St Pats.
Kellyann Hogan(Ballymacarbry) and Aoibhe Waring(Erin’s Own) fill the midfield.
ÁineO'Neill(Kilrossanty Brickeys), Bríd McMaugh(Ballymacarbry) and Caragh McCarthy(Abbeyside) are the half-forwards.
Annie Fitzgerald(Gaultier), Lauren McGregor(Dungarvan) and Sheena McGuckian(Kilrossanty Brickeys) complete the side in the full forward line.
