Waterford and Cork renew their long standing rivalry when the sides will bid to preserve their National hurling league Division 1A status at Pairc Uí Rínn this afternoon.

The Rebels will be keen to avenge their league defeat to Waterford three weeks ago.

Seamus Harnedy was dismissed in the opening half as the Déise went on to record a 1-20 to 1-15 win at Pairc Uí Chaoimh.

Waterford finished their campaign with another morale boosting win over Clare in Walsh Park last weekend, while Cork lost for the fourth time in a row following defeat to Tipperary.
